Mission: Educational mission ~ we are building a solid policy foundation for conservation-
Programs: Policy~seeking out opportunities to improve policies in support of conservation based stewardship on both public and private land. Wla is currently engaged on several policy fronts, including property tax reform, upcoming farm bill, federal land mgt policy changes per the new administration, state and local barriers to forest health mgt on private lands, and potential challenges to the endangered species act. The program affects the general public.

Connecting landowners to one another and to technical support and other resources. Establising a website to serve as a platform for the dissemination of knowledge and science.
