Mission: A holistic legal aid clinic dedicated to providing legal and quasi legal services through direct services, workshops, forums and advocacy.
Programs: The westside justice center focuses on providing holistic legal services. In the last year the wjc has done more than 500 pro bono legal intakes covering all aspects of legal and quasi legal issues. Wjc team members helped these intakes by either navigating them through the legal system or by providing referrals to either pro bono legal services or inexpensive legal services. One of the ways that the wjc accomplishes this is by training ex-offenders to be paralegals and human rights investigators. Additionally, the wjc holds regular legal education and know your rights seminars for the community at large.
