Programs: Wesley spectrum services foundation raises funds and applies for grants to support the services performed by wesley spectrum services. Wesley spectrum services provides transformational support for children and families as they strive to become more independent, responsible, and caring members of the community - all the while maintaining exceptional mission and operating principles and accountability. Wesley spectrum services offers life changing support by providing services in autism, education, behavioral health and family support. Operating schools for children who are not successful in the public school system and who struggle with mental health obstacles, the organization also partners with school districts to improve the mental health services they provide. Wesley spectrum helps parents to form and strengthen positive relationships with their children and promotes family integrity and reunification through its family services, foster, and adoption programs. Wesley spectrum's autism and outpatient services offer one on one and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. In fiscal year 2013-2014, wesley spectrum provided services promoting recovery and resiliency at 9 different agency locations and various other shared facilities. The right care in the right way at the right time was provided to over 5,500 consumers. During the year, transformational support services were provided to a population of 40% female and 60% male. While consumer ages ranged from 0 77 years of age, 77% of them were under the age of 20 and 28% were minorities. Across all programs, of those consumers who completed their respective treatment, 93% saw an improvement in their clinical condition. Wesley spectrum served 256 students in their school buildings where 29 students graduated this year. The autism service array helped build skills for 923 individuals between the ages of 2 and 54. 39% of these individuals achieved their goals and 40% made significant progress. 671 individuals were served in wesley spectrum's in home family services program and 86% of them remained living with their families. The programs of wesley spectrum services are: academy is a private academic school; allegheny behavioral health services provide outpatient behavioral health, family-based/family focused mental health services; autism services include behavioral health rehabilitation services, wonder kids social skills groups and creative arts therapy; highland services is an approved private school and school-based psychiatric partial hospital that has contracted services with school districts; in-home services provide intensive family preservation and family therapy services; washington services provide outpatient services and partial hospital, mental health, drug and alcohol and co-occurring services; westmoreland and somerset services provide mental health outpatient, family-based/family-focused mental health and intensive family preservation services; foster care provides foster placement services for children including those who are medically needy; adoption is a swan affiliate providing a full array of adoption services to children and resource families; and integrated services is a private academic school with acute and school-based psychiatric partial hospital services. Wesley spectrum services has over 500 dedicated employees, who provide services to consumers at multiple locations across the following counties in pennsylvania: allegheny, beaver, butler, fayette, greene, somerset, washington and westmoreland. The foundation's fundraising events raise funding and community awareness for wesley spectrum's programs and services. Each event is designed to provide our attendees with an enjoyable experience while supporting the children, youth, families and individuals that we serve. We have over 60 volunteers who devote time to our events. In fiscal year 2013-2014 the foundation's two main fundraising events raised more than $240,000 for wesley spectrum's children and families. Unrestricted funds enable the programs to use the dollars where most needed to provide the highest quality of care.
