I would name names if it weren't against community guidelines. Wellspace Health is the most dysfuntional organization I have ever encountered, and employs frighteningly inept healthcare providers. Their actions (and inactions) have severely and negatively impacted my life. Their physicians (I went to several) are enormously uninformed about typical medications and make ridiculous snap judgements on the basis of reductive reference materials. They absolutely do NOT care about you as a patient or anything you have to say, and certainly don't believe that you might know anything about yourself or your needs even though they are acquainted with the barest minimum of what you would expect them to know. I have been sent to irrelevant specialists (rather than the ones I knew to ask for on the advice of previous specialists I have worked with). I have been counselled to use "essential oils" to treat a previously diagnosed severe genetic disorder. I have been given the absolute run-around whenever I needed to get in touch with anyone. I have been severely neglected resulting in forced withdrawal from strong medication despite doing everything I possibly could to communicate with my physician over a period of several months. It takes months for even a telehealth appointment, so urgent needs are never addressed. In spite of multiple pleas over the course of two years, it took THAT LONG for an assistant to get my patient portal set up (you need a code only they can provide, but it's only provided in-person, and over the pandemic no in-person appointments were available, I was told innumerable times "We'll call you back within the next few days"). I waited 6 MONTHS for a referral to a psych NP to even be placed regardless of assurances, only to have my appointment cancelled and rescheduled for two more months out after an hour and a half of waiting on the day-of. I have been refused basic screening for ADHD by said psych NP, who blatantly misquoted the DSM-5, after more than a year of requesting this service. I am now, months later, having to drop out of school because I have unmet medical needs that I have done everything to try and address but have received no medical support or cooperation for. I am angry. I am sad. I hope these people don't sleep well at night because I certainly don't. These providers do not deserve their educations, positions, salaries, or commensurate occupational respect. I only had them through Medi-Cal, and frankly, I might have been better off without healthcare.
One if the worth health care provider I have ever seen. Do not go with them at all. You can not talk to your primary doctor office. It is central phone!!!! Appointment time for primary doctor is 2 months. My knee has broken and ER did not recognize so primary dr said I don't have time to see you. I paid $400 for MRI and $250 for doctor. Finally MR I report said 2 fracture and tear of ligament!!! Right knee. Still after 2 weeks looking for specialist!!!!
