Welcome Home Military Heroes is one of the greatest Veteran organizations I have seen. They are not about the "attention." They are about helping our local Veterans... even if that means no one knows about it. During COVID, they were one of the only veteran nonprofits still out doing things for our veterans. As a female veteran, I feel so welcome when I show up to events. Everything in this organization is organized so well. I have volunteered a lot for other veteran organizations and WHMH is by far the best.Thank you for everything you do!!
I want to thank Robert and everything he does to teach us old Veterans how to become homeowners. No one has ever take the time to teach me about the VA Home Loan and for Robert to do it means a lot. Thank you Robert and Welcome Home Military Heroes for providing this service!!
WHMH contacted me a few weeks before my father's 100th birthday. They offered to provide a Veteran Vehicle Salute for him. I did not expect much, but Robert, Cheryl and their team made this one of the best experiences my father has ever seen. He talked about it almost daily for two months before his passing. Thank you so much! We will forever hold onto this memory.
I have volunteered for a lot of Veteran organizations over the years.. from small nonprofits like Welcome Home to big ones like Wounded Warriors. This organization is by far the best organization I have ever worked for. They have over a dozen mission and not a single one they do is for recognition. Theydo it to actually help local Veterans. The tolan family and the board has taken the organization to new territory and have set an example for how a nonprofit should be ran. Thank you! By the way the golf tournament is so much fun and the proceeds should only go to your organization. The photo I attached I pulled off their facebook.
Thank you, Robert, for everything you did for my Dad and the other 90 Veterans. It was such a great experience. Your nonprofit is so well organized and cares so much for each Veteran. The welcome home is something we will never forget. My Dad still does not stop talking about it. He keeps telling his friends how famous he was haha. Thank you again and please do not stop what you are doing!! I hope you do not mind me posting a photo of you lol
This is an amazing group that shows respect and appreciation to our military , past and present.
This group involves every age in the community, with teaching, parades, salutes, and literature. It truly is a wonderful and important group.
This group does so much for our hometown military men and women. They honor them with flag lines and cheers when they come home, they have flag lines to celebrate them at funerals, they honor older vets on their birthdays (all outside) with flag waving song and cheers, and so much more. They are just amazing!
This nonprofit is all about veteran's - honoring and helping them. This is a local nonprofit that is necessary on the central coast of California. Thank you to Robert Tolan and the Tolan family for all of your hard work.
I have been following them for years and I went to my first event this past weekend in Santa Barbara. The people were absolutely amazing and they care a lot about Veterans. Everything was well organized. I look forward to them coming back to Santa Barbara. I wish they were national. But at same time, I am glad they are just a local organization. Their hearts are so big.
