If you are looking for a great place to donate furniture, clothes etc., Wayside Cross Ministries has 3 shelters in Illinois and has been helping people in need for over 90 years.
The also have a Free Pickup Service for large donations as well as 25 clothing donation bins located in different Church parking lots around the Greater Chicago area. If you are looking for a great place to give your old stuff new purpose, I really can't think of a better place.
I was really pleased to learn my donation helps homeless, addicted and abused men, women and children rebuild their lives. That's why I wholeheartedly recommend them.
