Mission: The scout center facility makes scouting more visible in the community at large and enhances their ability to reach more potential scouts. The scout center provides equal wings to house each scouting groups' administrative offices including space for such duties as camp reservations, rechartering, registration and volunteer support. The scout center also features a large conference room with a capacity of 100 and with equal availability to both organizations. The scout center has a larger and more accessible scout shop open to the general public which is owned and operated by both councils and allows them to provide a larger more diverse selection of supplies at less cost to the councils. This facility also provides both councils the opportunity to share occupancy costs such as utilities, lawn care, snow removal and janitorial services.
Programs: Provided and maintained the scout center facility for samoset council, inc. Boy scouts of america and the girl scouts of the northwestern great lakes organizations.
