Mission: Currently 15 to 30 people die each year of dehydration and sunstroke in the desert between Jacumba California and Yuma Arizona. Our Mission is to reduce the number of deaths by installing and maintaining over 300 water stations in that region. Each water station is a 55 gallon plastic drum containing five to ten single gallon water bottles. The barrels are marked with a 10 to 30 foot tall blue flag. They are located in areas where desert crossers have died.
