I highly recommend supporting Water for South Sudan. As a long time employee of a non profit that has collaborated with them on dozens of clean water projects in South Sudan, I can attest to the dedication and impact of their work.
Water for South Sudan works in areas where it's common for millions of women and children to trek for up to eight hours a day to collect water from marshes, ditches, or hand-dug wells. This water is often contaminated with parasites and bacteria resulting in sickness and even death. By providing access to safe water and facilitating hygiene education they are changing lives, especially for women and girls.
Water for South Sudan continues to be a valuable partner to us and we hope to continue including them in our program for many years to come!

Mission: Water for South Sudan delivers direct, transformative, and sustainable quality-of-life service to the people of South Sudan by efficiently providing access to clean, safe water and improving hygiene practices in areas of great need.
Results: Since 2005, Water for South Sudan has drilled more than 440 new wells and rehabilitated more than 150 older wells. In addition, Water for South Sudan has conducted more than 400 hygiene education training programs in remote, rural South Sudanese villages, and completed the construction of a latrine at Zogolona Primary School.
