Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Environment, Water, Water Resources, Wetlands Conservation & Management

Mission: To increase awareness that there is a direct link between water quality and the use of appropriate wastewater systems and their management.

Results: In 2011, our activities and presentations reached over 15,000 people directly - with force multipliers via our social media activities and reciprocated links.

Target demographics: Environmental health professionals in public health departments. Wastewater system designers, installers and service technicians Residential, commercial, community and industrial property owners. Small community, rural community local government officials. Disadvantaged property owners. Watershed and environmental groups concerned about and looking to protect water quality. Sustainable developers. Utility companies - we are an EPAWaterSense Partner seeking to publicize the link between water use, energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Direct beneficiaries per year: @15,000

Geographic areas served: US and Canada with an emphasis on the Great Lakes Basin and NW MI.
