Mission: The mission of the washington state parks foundation is to ensure a vibrant washington state parks system for generations to enjoy. We engage, expand, and sustain a broad base of supporters who give to, advocate for, and treasure our state parks.
Programs: Cama beach conference center - to fund the final stages of construction for a new conference facility at cama beach state park that accommodates up t0 200 people for conferences, workshops, special events and retreats.
capacity building - to support strategic plan development, an outreach campaign, fundraising consulting, the development of database and online tools and the development of a new membership program. Includes involvement with the collins group (consultants), the foundation board, and the state parks agency.
grants for small and simple project grants and the arts in the parks program - to support and fund critical projects and programs throughout the state parks system, including trail and facility improvements, interpretive exhibits, and more than 25 art and cultural events partnering with the state parks agency and the national endowment for the arts.
