I have served on this organizations's board, and my organization is currently in a contracting relationship with WSCADV. WSCADV operates with high integrity in all of it work. Their finances are tightly managed and transparent. I believe the organization is truly in tune with its members. WSCADV is very committed to the future of the domestic violence movement and has been thinking ahead for years. Other State coalitions look to WSCADV as a leader and example.

The agency that I work for has been long term member agency of WSCADV and I have served one term on the WSCADV board and was just elected to my second. My entire experience with WSCADV has been inspiring, educational and supportive. I feel proud to have such an innovative state coalition that I can look to for advice and guidance.

WSCADV had been a key part in my personal development as a leader in the domestic violence movement, has offered invaluable support to our agency, and is a leader not only in the state of Washington but across the nation.

The programs, trainings, resources and work done by the coalition has helped to shape my understanding of anti-oppression work, has been key in the growth and development of our agency, and their work is leading the future of the anti-violence movement. I can say that something they have done positively impacts my work on a nearly daily basis.

Personally, I just love being involved with WSCADV, the staff are intelligent, passionate, skilled and also a lot of fun. I have participated in their annual event the 5k Refuse to Abuse run at Safeco Field in Seattle that last two years and it is one of the best events I have been involved with -- well organized events and an absolute blast!
