Causes: Education, Undergraduate Colleges
Mission: WMGF, founded in 1994, was created to address the lack of university funding for the University of Washington men's gymnastics program, which was dropped as a UW varsity sport in 1980 (and which has managed to survive since thanks to volunteer coaches and the fundraising efforts of the athletes themselves.) It is comprised of volunteers who greatly desire to see the program continue to produce high-level athletes and quality people.
