the alliance educates purchasers and consumers about variation in care and the importance of having a primary care physician. We maintain a free public website to post results of the community check-up, as well as research for consumers.
the alliance conducted a survey of 35k patients' experience with their primary care clinics which was sent to 120k residents in order to report to consumers, purchasers and providers on patients' perception of the quality of their experience in 185 clinic locations.
the alliance collaborates with state agencies and other organizations to advance health care transformation in the state of washington, eg, (1) planning and implementing a state innovation plan, (2) establishing an all payers claims database for the state, or (3)implementing the "choosing wisely" campaign
