Mission: A preschool and development kindergarten with individualized curriculum for children ages 3-7 who have emotional, physical or developmental challenges and need more than a regular early childhood program. The mission of the school is to enable the child to enter a regular classroom when ready.
Programs: The walnut lake preschool program addresses the needs of 3-7 year olds whose emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges are interfering with success in regular preschool or daycare settings. In our specialized classroom, we blend an educational curriculum with therapeutic services to strengthen the child's emotional resources, social capabilities, cognitive development, motor skills, speech, and language.
