Mission: To protect the rural nature of the wallowa country by working cooperatively with private landowners, indian tribes, local communities and governmental entities to conserve land.

Programs: The trust uses economic and other incentives to help conserve the valley's natural, historic, cultural and agricultural resources, including forests, farmlands, ranchlands, grasslands, wetlands, waterways and open ground, for the benefit of present and future generations.
