Waldo CAP has been a great partner to the Waldo County YMCA. They have helped us provide lunches for senior through our AOA luncheon program. They actively look for ways to combine our strengths so that 2+2=5 (or 6!).
Waldo County is fortunate to have the team at Waldo CAP and we are grateful to work with them to strengthen our community.

Programs: Family services - head start - serving children in waldo county by offering programs for low-income families to participate in the education, health care, social and emotional growth of their children.
transportation - the waldo county public transportation (wcpt) program is a full service provider serving residents of mdot region 5 (waldo, knox, lincoln and sagadahoc counties, and the municipalities of brunswick and harpswell in cumberland county). Wcpt provides non-emergency public transportation to low-income, elderly and disabled residents, and to the general public.
midcoast connector - brokerage for non-emergency medical transportation for mainecare eligible residents of mdot region 5.
various other program services including community, housing, and other services.
