Wake Up Narcolepsy is an inspiring organization born from one family's experience with a child being diagnosed with the life-changing illness, Narcolepsy. It is well- managed and offers multiple services to those affected by Narcolepsy--primarily public education and outreach and fund-raising toward much needed research. As a parent of a child with Narcolepsy, we are deeply grateful for all that they do.

Wake Up Narcolepsy is a great voice for people with narcolepsy! Increasing awareness about narcolepsy is a big priority of mine. The more people who know about the symptoms can lead to earlier diagnosis. Very grateful for Wake Up Narcolepsy folks for getting the word out, and for funding research.

As a Sleep Advocate, I know how hard it can be to get people to return emails and phone calls right away. You sort of expect to have to wait for a bit because so many people need help and resources are thin. I emailed WUN on behalf of a patient who urgently needed help and received an email back very quickly that went above and beyond what we had asked for. I cannot tell you how happy the patient was and how touched I was that WUN responded immediately and we were given to the Director. They did an awesome job!

Wake Up Narcolepsy has made a huge difference for people with narcolepsy by spreading awareness and funding research. I have volunteered with them over the last 4 years and our son with narcolepsy has greatly benefited from the work they do. I like this organization because they collaborate with top narcolepsy physicians and other not-for-profit organizations to maximize communication and effectiveness.
