Causes: Animal Protection & Welfare, Animals
Mission: Animal rescue and adoption of dogs and cats. Includes spay, neuter, vaccinations and treatment of medical needs before adoption.
Programs: In 2017, 330 cats and 145 dogs were adopted. All animals were treated for medical problems including testing for feline leukemia and fiv, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, rabies and distemper vaccinated before adoption to the public. All were treated for worms and fleas. Animals were carefully evaluated to match a potential adopter's interests and life style with the animal's needs.
a second program service accomplishment is to offer to the public lower cost spay, neuter and rabies vaccination certificates to help reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats in the community. Working with veterinarians who agree to lower prices we are able to offer this service which promotes a positive client and veterinarian relationship that has the potential of creating ongoing customers and most importantly reduce euthanasia for unwanted pets.
