Causes: Adult Day Care, Human Service Organizations, Human Services, In-Home Assistance, Residential Care & Adult Day Programs
Mission: To optimize the quality of life for people with disabilities or special needs. See schedule o for continuation of mission.
Programs: Supported living - residential support services provide an array of residential and home support options so individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability may live successfully in the community. During the fiscal year 155 adults were supported in various home sites.
adult day services - a program that provides habilitation training services for 50 adults with intellectual disabilities and some with physical disabilities. The program goal is to stimulate and enrich each person while guiding him or her to more independent functioning.
greenbush industries - employs a work force of adults with disabilities and provides them with wage-earning opportunities and vocational training. Greenbush industries offers commercial subcontracting services to businesses and industries statewide. During the fiscal year 160 consumerss and 110 employees provided services to over 40 businesses.
employment services - specialists provide employment assessment, competitive placement services, job training and vocational support for adults with disabilities and special needs. During the fiscal year 134 adults received assistance through employment services.
