VT Seva internship was one of the best internships for my son. Helping children via VT Seva was a transformative experience for my son. Actually, the learning was both ways - the discipline and character the children displayed left an indelible mark on my son.
An inspiring organization with thousands of passionate volunteers dedicated to improve lives of the underserved.

I have been associating with Volunteering together for Service (VT Seva) since early stages of this organization. The Sharing and giving concept of it encourages many like me to perform volunteering work in helping others. As a teacher/organizer/ donor been supporting VT Seva’s projects.
VT Seva projects touch many lives in different forms. For example the education for physically disadvantage individuals, support to financially needy families by providing healthcare, education, and rehabilitation during natural calamities all over the world. I were surprised by those students willing to accept any level of help and pursue their dream with confidence.
I am also impressed with the VT Seva team's efforts in bringing awareness among women about the different forms of cancer and support them by providing medicines and follow up medical care either as inpatient or outpatient.
Mahila Arogya Vikas is conducting camps in remote villages in many states in India. These free camps are available to many local communities. My family sponsored one of these health camps in a village called Sanivarappeta in Andhra Pradesh, India. I requested this camp at that location since it was the place my grandparents lived a few decades ago. To my surprise, the team exhibited very high standard performance. They were well equipped and very meticulously executed their plan.
1. They advertised well in the neighborhood. Distributed pamphlets. Made repeated announcements in the streets by going around in a rickshaw.
2. They set up a booth with excellent privacy for all patients as much as needed.
3. They have the latest electronic equipment for this purpose.
4. Provided prescription medicines to pick up after check-up.
5. Qualified staff available on-site including a physician, nurse, and helpers
6. Patient privacy was highlighted.
7. Registration desk with qualified and trained volunteers
8. Snack, food and drink items plenty for all
The camp was for 5 hours and served nearly 150 women on that day. I understand that usually at other camps it is a much larger number.
I happened to be there and watched the process of the care the team was giving. All the volunteers were very friendly, kind and responsible.
Sponsoring a student or health camp or working on a project with a local Boston chapter is a wonderful feeling. I feel proud to be part of this organization. VT Seva activities are non-religious and only focus on the wellbeing of the individual to make them better citizens of this world. Currently, on a regular basis, I volunteer at Prajna camps, weekly Prajna education, 5k walk for social a cause, neighboring town spring cleanup day activities.
VT Seva also recognizes the individuals for their services through US President Medals. I also received that recognition in the form of a Bronze medal.
I promise myself to be part of the VT Seva and its activities forever. My desire is to encourage many others to join hands with VT Seva to make this world a better place to live for many needy families.
As a family, we are very blessed and thankful to associate with the wonderful VT Seva Houston Chapter for the past several years, involved in numerous service activities.
“Passion to Service” has became a true Purpose of our lives now.
It is a great feeling of joy to see, through our valuable contributions of money, time, efforts, energies and resources were utilized better towards the right causes, and make a positive impact in the society.
Precious moments to treasure, when you see the happiness in others (especially when you are not related to them personally, and yet you met some of their needs directly or indirectly through humble dedications.
As serendipities, Our kids were received Presidential Gold Service awards, it has been an incredible journey of learning,. We set good example or inspiration to others by being genuine, kind and compassionate towards all beings in the universe as you love yourself.
We are very Proud of the fact that this organization has been guiding by an incredible noble leader, HHH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, with innumerable awesome qualities.
We highly encourage you to join the great VT Seva global team to make a difference in the world with any of the four pillars of activities.
Ever since I joined VT Seva as young as 6 years old, VT Seva has helped me in so many ways that I could have never imagined! It has shaped me into who I am today- a leader, a selfless individual, and someone who has an ardent passion for service. VT Seva has made it a mission to aid in times of natural disasters, spread health awareness, and provide education to those who need it most. I highly encourage people of all ages to take part in this movement and better the world today and for future generations.
Our family of four has been volunteering with VTSEVA for the past 9 years. We have had the opportunity to participate in service activities in many areas - environmental (tree planting, maintenance), educational (for visually challenged and tribal children/youth and more), veterinary care, serving food in soup kitchens, the list is endless.
The reach of our contribution is local as well as international. We can choose to participate in any level we want.
The spirit of service in VTSEVA is unique and distinctive. I have volunteered with other service organisations before and the spirit of service is truly selfless, egoless and pure only in VTSEVA.
If one is contributing time and energy in the service organizations, the volunteer feels uplifted and energised.
If one is contributing monetarily, we know our money is in safe hands and will definitely reach the intended recipient.
We have been associated with VT Seva since the past decade. But, my daughter Bhaavita started actively volunteering since this past year. She worked hard during the school year as well as the summer and is a proud recipient of the Mayor’s award for her extensive volunteering over the summer. I would like to give most of the credit to VT Seva Cary coordinators Mrs. Sowjanya and Mrs. Kalyani. If not for them, Bhaavita wouldn’t have come to love volunteering. I know behind the scenes how hard both of them work to make each event happen. And each of the volunteering opportunity is so different from the other, which keeps it interesting for teenagers. Kudos to them for all their efforts! I would encourage all parents to continue sending their kids to VT Seva volunteering events. I have seen how it has impacted my daughter. She understands the positive impact she is making on the community through her volunteering. She is learning other people’s perspectives on every day events which I am sure will help her in the long run. There is an adult volunteer who is always with the kids during the time they volunteer which gives peace of mind to me as a parent. And last but not the least, it has instilled confidence and empathy in her. Thank you VT Seva for all that you are doing for the community!!
VTSeva provides an excellent avenue by which kids are able to contribute to the community while becoming socially responsible and empathetic. We really appreciate all the good work and efforts by VTSeva team.
VT Seva as an organization is great in inculcating sense of community in young adults especially! Finds varied opportunities for kids and adults to give back to the community, my middle schooler enjoys and looks forward for these opportunities. Initially it took couple of times for her to find joy and now she feels great about spending time with VT Seva. Kudos for board of directors (Kalyani and Soujanya) hard work in taking the organization to next level facilitating the process of signing up and arranging transport as needed.
We are proud to be part of VT Seva.
Our kids gets opportunity to explore more with this organization.
VT Seva is a great organization with its core strength as people on ground working very hard and dedicated and not subjected to any hurdles.
I had personal experience to work directly with staff on the ground for conducting health camp in my birth place in India where they helped screening 200 women for cervical cancer. They also followed up the diagnosed cases. Madhavi Donepudi and Madhavi Ravindra were instrumental in this. These two ladies are best in class as an example of how dedicated the VT seva organization is. I am lucky to be associated and many many thanks to the guru Shri Shri Chinna Jiar swamy for preparing these committed force for execution.
This is a very dedicated non-profit organization. The volunteers are always kind and understanding, and do their best to help others. As a youth volunteer, I am often busy with school and need volunteering opportunities to put me out in the world. VT Seva takes into consideration my school work and plans schedules to fit my schedule. Not only that, it is a great experience to volunteer, and it really makes you feel amazing on the inside.
VT Seva goals has been to help rebuild and restructure the underprivileged and underserved communities. The beauty of that goal is not just complete the work and move on but it also engages the next generation as there volunteers, so they can understand and carry forward the same work in there life and help those communities. In the process we are also educating the youth to understand what they have and what others don’t and how they can relate and help them to have a wonderful life. VT Seva also does tremendous work on providing free quality education, food for underprivileged tribal students and visually challenged, conducting free cancer screening, medical camps, and providing relief efforts when natural disaster.
I have been volunteering with VT Seva for over a decade now and I am thrilled to see the progress it has made in various areas - Free education with free boarding for Tribal kids and Visually challenged. One million people touched by Heath screenings and awareness being created. 100% proceeds reach the causes they are donated for.
VT seva is well structured to serve four pillars (Tribal education, Women health, Visually challenged school/college and natural disaster support). I volunteered as chaperone this summer for students exchange program it is great experience. We got to see the live experience of students life in all the facilities. The students in tribal area is getting direct benefit. As there are many dedicated volunteers the cost to manage the organization is very low or none. So glad that there lots of great dedicated teachers also working at the schools supported by VT seva. We are so glad to support this organization.
I have been volunteering at VT Seva New Jersey from last couple of years. It is an amazing non profit organization which truly serves the local community as well as in India. We are involved with helping the local food banks, preparing brown bag lunches and serving the needy people and participating in their community activities like walkathons etc to bring in awareness in the people. Apart from these we also fundraise and sponsor the underprivileged and blind kids education back home in India. This truly gives me immense satisfaction and I am proud to be associated with such wonderful organization.
I was introduced to VT Seva early last summer from one of my friends. My two daughters started volunteering at different places through VT seva since then. The two directors of Cary chapter doing amazing job, posting the all available volunteering opportunities around the triangle and also the carpool availability. It really helped me and my kids to do some good no of volunteering hours this summer. Not only the volunteering hours, they found some really good group of friends. Thank you VT-seva, with out you guys it would have difficult to find this many volunteering opportunities for my kids. I wish you continue this community service long time.
VT Seva is an organization that is set to serve the community and give exposure to people from diverse groups to the outside world. Herein we, as volunteers, learn how to engage with the people who actually need us. They are very supportive and friendly staff that makes every new comer to the family, welcomed. They always make sure we are safe at all times. New opportunities to help the society come quite often and the staff always briefs us about the events in advance so we are well prepared. I'm glad to be associated with this organization and would encourage more and more people to join to accomplish the mission towards which VT Seva is working.
This organization has open up a whole new view of my world. I knew as a high school student I needed a given number of hours of service in order to graduate. However, VT Seva is so much more than that to me. Everything I do, I know that somewhere around the world my service is making a difference. I learned so much by spending my time feeding those who are less fortunate and fundraising for all the underprivileged and schools for the visually challenged located in India. This past summer, I visited 4 of these schools and I learned just how important service is and how there is so much more to life behind the walls of your own home.
VT Seva - service to others is service to god.
VT Seva is an amazing organisation which helps local community not only through food bank but also takes health care initiatives. it also spreads environmental awareness to the people and helps people during natural disasters like California fires and floods in Texas.
This organisation helps underprivileged kids in India through Tribal schools and Blind Schools by sending volunteers to India to help them out and collect funds for the schools
through events organised by the dedicated volunteers.
This organisation also had a great impact on the women health in rural India by collecting funds for the women health care kits and many women have been screened.
All the volunteers work selflessly and each one of the them follow the motto
--service to others is service to god.
Volunteering with VT Seva is a life changing experience not only to me but also to all my family especially for my kids. Let me call out an incident here, when VT Seva Cary chapter conducted a "Meals on Wheels' Program, where in all kids have to collect the HOT PACK - FOOD from the distribution center and go to the selected address of people and handover the Hotpack to underprivileged senior citizens. When my daughter completed handing these hot packs to few people, she became a completely changed girl as she realized how many people are in such a difficult state and not even getting a single meal per day.
We truly appreciate VT Seva for providing such life changing experiences to many in our area.
Thanks for providing diversified volunteer opportunities. Through volunteering, I am able to improve myself.
VT Seva is a nonprofit organization being operated globally. It is my privilege to volunteer for such an organization where 100% of VT Seva donations reach out to the needy. VT Seva has zero administrative or overhead costs.
VT Seva is involved in many service activities like educating and empowering the children who are visually challenged, educating the underprivileged children from tribal communities, cancer awareness, and prevention, responding to natural disasters, environmental protection, serving homeless in communities all over the world.
JaiSrimannarayana!
VT Seva helped my child understand the importance of selfless service to the community and the difference they could together make in someones life. VT Seva provides an opportunity to all these young volunteers to enthusiastically prepare food for the homeless shelter in NJ. VT Seva provides a platform to take the responsibility to keep the surroundings, environment clean and to serve the people during natural catastrophes. I am very happy to see these children bringing the awareness and importance of serving the Visually challenged for their education and basic needs. They are conducting several awareness programs for good health like cancer awareness walkathons. I express my sincere gratitude for teaching my child that she is a part of the big whole and it is her responsibility to take care of this entire mother earth.
I admire the way this organization, VT Seva, supports under privileged children (including visually challenged) by supporting them with all the necessities including boarding and state of the art education
Most importantly, i am amazed to see these children performing in national and international sports and winning laurels
Not only education, VT Seva also helps under privileged with support for Health by conduction free screenings, etc
VT Seva is always will be in the forefront to help the needy, globally, whether is is because of natural calamities or any other issues
I'm impressed by the way this organization is run and the impact it has on the local communities (food banks, environmental awareness) in NJ and also for needy (Blind schools, Tribal schools in India). Very motivated and dedicated set of volunteers that want to make a change. Keep up the great work.
