I began listening to spirit Catholic radionearly 2 yrs ago and now it's the only thing i tune into on the radio when driving...and i spend a lot of time driving everyday! It has filled a void i didnt know i had and it has had such a positive impact on my life and my family. I honestly enjoy every single program on this station.

I began listening to KVSS shortly after they began broadcasting in 1999. It's been a joy! It's an uplifting radio station which teaches me many things. Great on-air hosts explaining the faith & how to live in this crazy world! I have several favorite programs throughout the week & tune into the app when I'm traveling. KVSS Spirit Catholic Radio has been such a significant and wonderful part of my family’s daily lives for many years. We learn so much about our faith and current news/activities locally and around the world from a Catholic perspective. KVSS daily brings joy and hope to us and to a world much in need.
Listening to KVSS has helped address and improve my spiritual walk, parenting and improving the relationship with my spouse! I listen in the AM, over lunch and on the drive home and always find a few good nuggets out of the programs that resonate with something going on in my life that I can take home and apply. Since listening to KVSS in the early 2000s, I've become more involved with the station from helping spread the word at festivals to helping the station raise money at their fundraising events. It's a great nonprofit with a great message & content for the whole community to take advantage of!

Love Listening to KVSS in the mornings on way to dropping of kids at school, and then work. And then again at night on the way home. The kids are excited every morning to the "good book" audio version; especially the experts who come on afterwards to summarize what they heard! I like Listening to on the way home to various topics via EWTN broadcast that helps me help or respond to those not only within my own faith, but Protestants and Atheists as well. Good stuff. When i do get out for lunch, I'll also listen to the Dr's In where I can always gain some nuggets that relate to things I may be going through or someone I know. great stuff!!
Many years ago, I knew my prayer life needed a boost. Driving 24 miles to work everyday, I had the habit of listening to books on CD--mostly gory murder mysteries--on my daily commute. I decided to give one week to listening to Catholic Radio only just to see if I could engage a little more fully in my faith life. Sixteen years later, my only pre-sets on my car radio are for Spirit Catholic Radio so that I can listen across the state of Nebraska.
My days are not complete without listening to Bruce & Jen--like good friends--to Kresta and Catholic Answers Live on my way home. Running errands at noon, I will listen to Dr. Ray or Dr. David Anders. Quite often I get into the Chancery, and we begin conversation with something one of us just heard on KVSS, or something will come up on our morning break about what we heard or about some upcoming event. My coworkers may see me in the morning, sitting in my car, and they know I'm listening to "one last bit" of what is being said on KVSS.

KVSS is a tremendous resourse open to all for positive inspiration, guidance and personally constructive information regardless of one's faith or lack of faith. Due to it's unique features it is a unique resource to the blind and homebound.
Spirit 102.7 is a welcoming place to volunteer. A smile greets me as I enter and exit and the employees are happy. They have a busy schedule but take time to visit for a few minutes. Its great to hear about their kids, grandkids and life. This station has spread the word of Jesus and into several states. I love that I can turn to the station while in my car and can listen as I drive to wherever I'm going. During Care-a-thon week its interesting to see where all the calls come in from worldwide. This station gives me the spiritual food I need.
I LOVE Spirit Catholic Radio!!! Its tag line is Encounter Jesus, and since becoming a regular listener I really have. Through the different programs I listen too every day, I feel that I see Jesus in a lot more people and ways than I did before...allowing me to “Encounter Jesus” Plus, I learn so much about my faith. I learned to pray the rosary with Msgnr Peter Dunn at the 10pm rosary while on my way to work. Now I lead the rosary ( shared weekends with two others) for the congregation on Saturday’s It has been a blessing to me. Also now my husband and I listen on our way to work and pray the rosary and listen to the readings of the day- followed by Sr Ann’s reflection.

I have been listening to Spirit Catholic Radio for over 5 years. I really appreciate the variety of programs guests, and topics that KVSS offers.It is a Spiritual Smorgasbord! I tune in mornings to Jen and Bruce and Matt on my way to mass. My local favorites guests include Father Taphorn and Sharon Doran and Faith Alive with Bruce Prenosil. Dr. Ray is always a treat at noon, and In the afternoon I enjoy Al Kresta. If I am driving home later at night I find praying the rosary with Monsignor Peter Dunne to be the perfect way to end my day. Listening to Spirit Catholic Radio has enriched my spiritual life and I often recommend this station to my friends just as a dear friend did to me.
I am a recent convert to the church. I started listening to Spirit 88.3 with the rosary in the morning, and then writing for Called to Communion. But without the radio network I would have not have the tools needed to enter the church last Easter. And now i am looking to go back to school to get a degree in theology and the more. I discovered KVSS, Spirit Catholic Radio about 6 months after they went on the air. My 20 yr marriage had just ended. I was so lost and in tremendous emotional and spiritual much pain. Spirit Catholic Radio pulled me up and set me back on my feet. Every time I turned it on I heard exactly what Jesus knew I needed that day. Even though my life circumstances have changed, over all the years it’s been on the air, it continues to renew and strengthen my faith in God and myself. I can’t imagine life without Spirit Catholic Radio.
This is my go to especially if I am feeling down and out about anything. I struggle with PTSD and at times want to just crawl in a hole, I have learned to turn around at my desk and hit the KVSS button on my radio and let it go. Thank you Spirit Catholic Radio !!!
Spirit Catholic Radio KVSS is instrumental in my faith life! I discovered this wonderful station early last year while I was focusing on deepening my faith in general. I had been told about KVSS by my sister and had seen yard signs and car window stickers for a long time but never thought about tuning in. The first thing I heard when I switched the dial was the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy. I was mesmerized. I didn't know it existed. I left the radio on 102.7 and have listened faithfully ever since. I love the Spirit Mornings show with Bruce McGregor, Jen Brown and Matt Willkom, especially Ask a Priest, Good Book Club and all the other guests who are featured on the show. I am not able to listen much during the day because of work, but when I get off work in the evening, I listen to Catholic Answers Live from EWTN that Spirit Catholic Radio brings to us. My faith has been strengthened so much by listening to Spirit Catholic Radio because a lot of things that have been cloudy in my mind for much of my 63 years here on Earth have been cleared up. KVSS has helped me grow a closer relationship with God. I was a cafeteria Catholic before I started listening but for the past 8 years, I don't miss a show. I always have them on in my pickup and love the shows they offer. The best thing about KVSS are the people!!! They are like family and such a joy to work with. This radio Network has evolved from a small station with an antenna on top of a 60' pole 15 years ago.
Since then they have continued to build a network that reaches hundreds of thousands around their home.
They are very solicitous of opinions and needs of the listeners, find creative ways to reach out, and have a fabulous focus on their mission.
Volunteers, staff and pretty much anyone with whom they have contact is treated with the utmost respect. They have been able to recruit and maintain top notch people, and there is a high degree of transparency in all aspects of their operation

I can't honestly think of one single thing that would be negative about Spirit Catholic Radio. Their radio hosts are so vibrant, honest, funny, sincere and full of God's love. The programming is superb! I've been listening for many years now and I listen to nothing else. I am so drawn to all the programs they have on that it is very difficult to ever turn the dial. Each and everyone of them teach me something new each day. They also sponsor many events that I've been to. They are out in the communities regularly and that is appreciated so much.

I love Spirit 102.7 FM!!! I listen daily!! I pray with the rosary at 6 am daily, then scripture study every day after that. I learn about the Saint of the Day. It's a great station and those who run the station are great people, connecting churches in the community. They use their donations wisely and provide a great service to the community through this station!!
I had come back to the Catholic Faith in October of 2014 after being away for over 30 years. I wasn't satisfied with my usual radio station as I drove to work so I said a prayer and then turned the dial. What I heard amazed me.
A beautiful, sweet voice was praying the Rosary. I could hardly believe that I had tuned right to this and that it was music to my soul. Later I found out it was Sr. Mary Lucy.
I continued to listen and soon after heard another kind, wise voice came on, Sr Ann Schields.
Since that day KVSS had been there to guide me, teach me and help me to grow closer to Jesus and my beautiful Catholic Faith.
Now my mornings are not complete with my "Sisters" to pray and guide me.

I have learned a lot about my Catholic Faith, and am still learning. I was not a very good practicing Catholic before I started listening 15 years ago.
Not only has it helped me but also my entire family. I am so grateful. My kids have grown-up in the faith and are wonderful adults. They are better Catholics than I am! It would not have happened without the radio on KVSS whenever the kids were around me. Then they started listening on their own. It gives me great peace of mind.
The programming is solid Catholic teaching. The programs and guests are informative and fun to listen to. It is a great way to evangelize because the top personalities in the Catholic Faith do the preaching and teaching. You can tune in to Spirit Catholic Radio in most parts of Nebraska and even parts of Iowa. The programing offers a little bit of something for everyone, even non Catholics. It is just awesome knowing there is a station you can turn to to better strengthen your faith. It is a great change of pace from secular radio. Tune in and you just might get hooked.
I've been an avid listener of KVSS the last 10 years or so. I've benefited greatly from their message in how to treat others, how to handle being a father, best practices for dealing with kids and a greater understanding of my faith.
Over the years, I've become more involved from donating time during care-a-thons, donating money on an annual basis, to offering insights on how the station can reach and bring on new listeners; especially the youth. It's a great time to be Catholic and a great time to help out nonprofits like KVSS, who has a great staff of "saints in the making" and BIG heart as they dedicate their time to ensure God's message is revealed to all who are willing to listen!

KVSS is a blessed organization bringing "Christ to people, and people to Christ" as they say often on their station, and it is true. Omaha is such a wonderful community filled with generous and committed people and it shows up in some really amazing ways. One of those is the Spirit Catholic Radio station that expanded several years ago and now broadcasting a clear and powerful signal across most of the great state of Nebraska. The message delivered is a true blessing in my life and the programming is some of the best you can find anywhere in the US. It is run by a unique and faithful group of individuals who are fabulous stewards of the gifts given to them. It is evident in the way others are called in many different ways to help them and the joy that is evident in the staff and volunteers.
KVSS radio is a blessing in my life. Their programming is of the highest caliber and provides a great deal of comfort and hope in our ever increasing secular world. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be only a radio dial away to the spiritual fruits, insightful commentary, and God's great message of love for us.
