Causes: Human Services, Volunteers of America
Mission: Volunteers of america of massachusetts, inc. Is a locally governed not-for-profit affiliate of volunteers of america, a national nonprofit, spiritually based organization providing human service programs and opportunities for individual and community involvment. In massachusetts we run comprehensive programs for abused and neglected adolecents, for adults and youth in recovery from drug and alcohol addition, and for isolated elders in need of housing and health services. We reach out to those most in need, especially the vulnerable, the hardest to serve, and those facing multiple challenges.
