At this point, if I could give 0 stars, I would. They were supposed to provide eye glasses. The order was placed in front of me. The promised wait was no more than three months. It's now been over a year. First, they finally remembered to call when I was up for a yearly checkup. Knowing they never provided the agreed to services in the first place, I decided not to go back for another year. They started calling after that with the supposedly received glasses now. The community they say they serve can surely afford a pair of $30 eye glasses out of pocket if the only other alternative is to wait for a pair for over a year. It will cost me more in gas, tolls and parking to go back and forth to your office. This nonprofit is completely unreliable and have no common sense. I would not be surprised that the owner is just doing it for the tax write-off. Blocked their number yet they still keep calling. I wish they would just go away.

I am a volunteer atv VIM-Jax. This is a free medical clinic which provides quality, free primary medical services to the low income working uninsured of Duval County, Fl. The clinic has been in operation since 2003 and run by volunteer physicians, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacist, office staff, along with 3 full time employees. The clinic is well operated, friendly to patients and voolunteers..

VIM in Jacksonville is the most rewarding volunteer opportunity I have experienced in the pat 40 years of volunteering. Volunteering using my nursing skills allows me the best venue to give back to the community to people who so deserve the help. The mission of providing " Assurance to the Working Uninsured' is remarkably demonstrated through out the medical community with in Jacksonville. All of the staff and the patients are appreciative of the volunteers and their thankfulness is continually shared with the volunteers.
