VCI a non-profit organization that not only says they care, puts it in ACTION! Staff members sacrifice a lot and work hard to make a difference in the Orlando area. This is truly a great organization, Orlando is luck to have them here.

Cyber-Seniors is a fun intergenerational opportunity for young citizens to collaborate with an older generation to teach them how to navigate technology. It is a great chance for students to earn volunteer hours or just make some new friends!

VCI is very dedicated to seeking out the greatest needs of Central Orlando and making an impact in the lives of many, both the benefitted and volunteers through their many programs. I personally believe whole-heartedly in VCI and what they stand for as well as seeing them become a main driving force in the Orlando Nonprofit community (and beyond)!

I found that the staff was genuinely committed to fostering relationships with volunteers and the community at large. Between their Foster Grandparent program to their Cyber-Seniors program (among others), they were a positive force for older adults in the Orlando area. I was impressed with the work they were doing when I met them and continue to expect great things from them!

The connection that VCI makes with the communities it serves is unbeatable. Seeking out the skills and talent of an older generation to impart knowledge and life-long experience on those who need it the most is something that VCI does that no other non-profit in the area can accomplish. Coming from a career in the for-profit industry and making the switch to non-profit has been exciting and VCI has made the experience enjoyable. As a volunteer coordinator, I truly love what I do. I am able to connect with individuals, other non-profits and issues that I would not be able to otherwise.

As a non-profit partner organization with VCI, we've received countless motivated and passionate volunteers who have really made a difference to our mission of serving low-income and homeless families and individuals in Osceola County. We are so thankful to VCI for being committed to strengthening our community through volunteer service and for making every interaction with them so enjoyable. We truly love VCI!

After volunteering at several nonprofits in the Central Florida area, I found the task of volunteering to be cumbersome, tedious, and having too take to much time doing paperwork and getting scheduled. A friend suggested that I give VCI a call and try them out. Well, I couldn't have had a more pleasurable experience. The VCI staff were really concerned about finding the right volunteer opportunity that would fit my interest and give me the most valuable volunteer experience. P.S., I walked away energized and eager to keep volunteering. VCI made it fun and easy.

There is nothing that comes close to the JOY of volunteering to give back to the community. Over the past year or so, it has been my great honor to volunteer at a multitude of diverse opportunities with VCI. It's never the same thing twice, which means change and excitement! VCI makes each volunteer feel included and valued for the help each provides on a project. I often end up as a single volunteer, not with a team from work, etc, but I am not single for long as VCI welcomes and matches up volunteers so well that no one ever feels alone. This has led to many new friendships, all through this volunteer community. I thoroughly enjoy volunteering with VCI and the work this group does for the community, in so many different ways! I volunteer to help and give back, pay it forward, yet, at the end of each event, it is me that feels ENRICHED by the experience we have shared as a team. Love you VCI!
