Volunteer programs have been an important part of Kerrville State Hospital for almost as long as the hospital has been in existence. Volunteers are actively involved in providing many special items and activities for KSH patients.

Activities and projects funded by the VSC are:
Birthday gifts

Computers for use by patients
Personal grooming items and clothing accessories
Cash assistance for canteen spending money for those without financial resources
Special meals for units or holiday activities
Entertainment
