i enjoyed taking my grand daughter to the family day of service and she helped make bags of goodies for first responders. She was only almost 3 years old, but she was still able to follow directions of putting various items in the bags.
The Volunteer Center of South Jersey offers so many opportunities, not only to volunteer to help others, but to better yourself. Through this organization my community impact is noticed, and my overall volunteer experience is enhanced. This organization is so wholesome and it does so much to help others, way more than an office operating with four employees should be able to accomplish. The Volunteer Center goes above and beyond to give back and connect others with service opportunities.
This organization encourages volunteering from a young age, with TWO family volunteering events every year, perfect for kids any age. I brought my two year old niece to one and she had the best time while learning about the value of serving your community. I thoroughly believe that because of this organization, she will grow up with the determination to help others in need, a live a life of service with her aunt.
What a great organization that compiles the wealth of opportunities to help others in our community in one convenient location!!! Great for service organizations of all ages and interests to find an agency or cause in need of assistance!!! I have shared your information with Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Mental Health providers, non-profits, women's groups, and school organizations and clubs so that they may easily find a way to give back to the community!!! The Volunteer Center of South Jersey has allowed me to lend a helping hand in their office, allowing me to get real world experience while in college. They work hard to help other non-profits with their volunteer needs and provide opportunities for the community.
