Causes: Disaster Aid, Public Safety, Disaster Preparedness & Relief
Mission: To create, form and establish an organization to benefit the present and former members of the malverne fire department; to provide sick, disabled or indigent benefits and death benefits to eligible present and former members of the fire department by providing funds to help offset the costs of insurance; to provide financial assistance to the members and their families who are sick or indigent; to promote the welfare of the fire services with the malverne fire district; to provide and support the rights and benefits of each member and their beneficiaries.
Programs: Members can apply for monetary help if they are indigent or in dire need of assistance with regard to funeral expenses, welfare assistance, medical costs, legal, sick and death benefits.
