I've been volunteering for Vlada's seeds of life for quite some time now. I volunteer for other charities also however this one is one very close to my heart and I keep coming back to it. We get to be part of helping kids , foster kids , single moms , cancer patients through providing home made meals, teaching basic life skills, cooking and so much more. If you want to be part of helping and changing people's lives come and join us volunteer for such a selfless and heartwarming non profit such as Vlada's seeds of life. It is a true blessing being a part of it.
Vlada Vladic was my inspiration! I was following her work for years and after talking to her I finally gained courage to found a nonprofit organization - Serbian Cultural Center San Diego! It was an honor and privilege to collaborate a cooking class with Vlada a few weeks ago. I loved Vlada's spirit, positive energy and her patience during the class. I never used some of the seasoning she suggested in the recipe, but I have to admit, I was blown away with the outcome and the taste of the meal we cooked! I've heard excellent comments from all the participants! It was fun, educational and yummy!!! I can't wait for another opportunity to work with Vlada!

I attended Vlada's cooking class, and it was wonderful. Vlada was very kind, engaging, passionate, and patient with all the participants. I got to use seasonings and ingredients I am not accustomed to, and the result was superb. With Vlada's help, I created a tasty, healthy, hearty meal that my family loved. Thank you.
Vladia has been apart of my life for a little over 2 years now and has taught me so much. I have attended cooking classes to gardening. The joy my son gets out of these classes put a smile of my face knowing he enjoys them.
Vlada's Seeds of Life brings back memories of old world values and traditions that I grew up with having a very Italian family including, memories of homemade pasta dinners shared with cousins, aunts and uncles. VSL stresses preparing and enjoying homemade meals, staying connected with family and community as a great way to stay healthy both mentally and physically. I couldn't agree more.
This is what motivates and attracts me to continue supporting , promoting, and serving on Vlada Seeds of Life Board. I have been a board member since 2015.

I have known Vlada for 30 years. Her passion to help those in need is unique and unprecedented. She is tireless and spirited across Vlada Seeds of Life and always with a helping hand. I cannot say THANK YOU enough to Vlada's Seeds of Life for all the support shown to our struggling single moms and their families as well as our former foster youth!!! Her delicious and nutritious meals have brought smiles to so many.
Vlada, and those in the community who support her, have truly helped to lighten the load for our moms. After a long days work, they are blessed to be able to heat up one of the premade meals so kindly donated, and feed their family a healthy dinner. She has also taken her time to teach our clients the life long skills of how to cook a nutritious meal on a budget.

Vlada's Seeds of Life is drawing families together and helping those most in need. Vlada is working in small groups with aged out foster youth and single mothers to teach them cooking, gardening and life skills. The tv show "Cooking and Kids" by Vlada is beamed on Public TV to 15 million households and now a YouTube channel.
