Programs: In 2014, visionspring increased access to vision screening and eyeglasses through four key initiatives which were global partnerships, india, el salvador and bangladesh. Our global partnerships initiative distributed 108,000 glasses in 7 countries. In bangladesh, we collaborated with brac to create access to eyeglasses in rural communities for 150,000 people. El salvador's 4 optical retail hubs served 39,000 customers in san salvador, san miguel, sonsonate and santa ana. Additionally as reflected in our grant activity, visionspring india achieved 40% growth over 2013 in the distribution of 251,000 eyeglasses.
