Based on the gathered information, the optometrist shows the patient devices that will help him/her regain partial or total independence in all areas of daily living tasks identified as affected by the vision loss. The patient tries the devices with guidance by the optometrist. The optometrist then recommends those devices, with which the patient achieved his/her visual goals.
