Programs: Our lady of lourdes medical center (lourdes medical center) is a 350 bed hospital located in camden, new jersey, in operation since 1950. Lourdes medical center is one of the region's leading hospitals, recognized nationally for quality patient care, including one of healthgrades' america's best 100 hospitals for cardiac care and a us news & world report best regional hospital. A regional referral center, lourdes medical center is a destination hospital for heart care, with one of the largest programs in the delaware valley. The medical center is the only facility in southern new jersey performing kidney, liver and pancreas transplants. Lourdes medical center specializes in surgical services, including cardiothoracic, vascular, general, bariatric (weight-loss), gynecologic, neurologic, orthopedic and urologic. The lourdes regional rehabilitation center is the only comprehensive rehabilitation facility located within an acute care hospital in southern new jersey. Lourdes medical center is the only hospital in the tri-state area (new jersey, pennsylvania and delaware) ever to have been awarded the american hospital association's top honor for excellence in community outreach services.
