Mission: VNW was founded in September 1999 with a weekly grocery distribution into a low-income area of Temecua, CA. The precept has been that to truly be able to help someone that feels that there is no help that the outreach would need to begin by addressing real needs. VNW started by addressing real needs of food, clothing, household items, referal service for housing, job placement assistance, professional cloths closet for interviews, and building relationships. Our goal is that none in our community should ever have to feel that they are alone in lidfe with nowhere to turn to for help.
