If VP, Stevan Conyer remains a part of Village Commons Community Center it will not maintain a good name. He lacks good customer service and timeliness when it comes to following the guidelines stated in the contract of service to the customer. I rented VCCC on April 27 for an event and the contract stated I would receive my security deposit back within 45 days from the date of the event. It is now July 2, 2013 and I have not received the security deposit yet. I attempted to reach Conyer's by cell and text with no response. Eventually, he returned my call and advised with an attitude that he would contact me but failed to do so. During our next conversation, he advised me again that he would call me at 9:00 AM and that didn't happen. Each time I had to call him and I received attitude. Finally, he sent me the address where he mailed my check and the address was wrong. I advised him that I could pick up the check and he said "I'll place it in the mail" and not to contact him anymore. I plan on making sure the word is spread not to use VCCC and will continue to call Conyer until I receive my check. If I don't get a check by Friday, July 5, I will contact an attorney.
