Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services

Mission: VietDreams is a 501(c)(3) organization founded by musicians, artists, journalists and music enthusiasts who all share a common goal – to provide disadvantaged children in Vietnam and United States with better educational opportunities and a more healthy, sustainable way of living. It is our duty to provide these children with vital medical supplies and educational assistance so that they may live better lives and one day fulfill their dreams. Some of our projects include donating bicycles and helmets, granting scholarships, medical supplies, workshops and most recently, providing access to clean water, which will reduce water-borne illness among children. Our organization also collaborates with local networks and other non-profit organizations such as Hope for Tomorrow, ICAN, Friends of Vinh Son, and Because Vietnam in order to successfully create an environment where every child is safe, self-sufficient, and able to pursue their education. But what sets our organization apart is our unwavering commitment and passion. We are devoted to giving these children a healthier lifestyle and a promising educational future. Our efforts are focused on children living in the poorer, rural areas of Vietnam. We do not discriminate among ethnic backgrounds, religions, minorities or medical circumstances. Every child deserves our assistance. We use our musical talents to raise the necessary funds to support our projects. The majority of our funding coming from benefit concerts, auctions, sponsors, and selling CDs and various artworks. We hope that our efforts and commitment will serve as a powerful reminder that there are many children in Vietnam who still need our help. Our goal is to give these children an opportunity of a lifetime and to make their dreams a reality.

Results: More than 50,000 children at 180 locations throughout Vietnam benefit our clean drinking water.

Programs: Clean drinking water for children at remote areas through out Vietnam

My school's club has had the opportunity to work with Viet Dreams for the past couple of years. With their help, we've been able to aid underprivileged children in Vietnam, a cause that is so meaningful and close to us. We greatly thank and appreciate Viet Dreams for their work!

I had a chance being involved with Viet Dreams in a program that provided the free Eye Surgeries for the poor people having cataract problem in Vietnam. My experience was extremely positive and my best moment was when I saw the happy faces of the patients as well as the volunteers.
Viet Dreams is also very well known on the program providing access to clean water to many poor rural areas in Vietnam.
I'm very impressive with Viet Dreams's staffs and volunteers, the superior examples of kindness, and compassion.
I'd like to express my great appreciation to Viet Dreams for many meaningful activities to my country Vietnam.

I have traveled to Vietnam many times and have personally seen the good that Viet Dreams is doing there. Viet Dreams partnered with Friends of Vinh Son and installed clean water systems at 6 orphanages in and near Kontum. When maintenance issues came up they were quickly resolved by Viet Dreams and M K Systems. Hats off to a wonderful charity that does so much for those who have so very little.

My only contribution so far has been buying one of the Us&Kids t shirts, but it was so amazing to see Catherine and Dorothy work so hard to make this happen. They did a great job of organizing and designing and selling the shirts. I was so happy and proud of them when I saw the pictures of the children in Vietnam with their school supplies that were purchased by the money from the shirts.

We, at MK Clean Water Company in Danang-Vietnam, has been working with Viet Dreams since 2010 and we were able to install more than 170 clean water systems and support more than 60,000 under-served students in Hue, Quang Nam, Danang, Gia Lai, Kontum, Quang Binh and Ha Tinh. Viet Dreams is one of the best charities that we had opportunity to work with. Please give a hand to support their wonderful cause.

It was a great pleasure for me to be a part of the dream team. I have been volunteering my time and skills since the day Viet Dreams Foundation was first formed back in year 2010. I had opportunity to work as Fundraising Event Director for 7 years in a row. We had built a strong base of supporters and volunteers for the event. We were able to bring hundreds of clean water systems to disadvantaged kids in rural of Viet Nam. We also helped to support the eye cataract operations for low-income elders. In the US, we maintain the culture of sponsoring and serving holiday dinners during Thanksgiving and Christmas for homeless people. Joining Viet Dreams and working as a tireless member of the board is one of my priceless life experience.

I have been volunteering with Viet Dreams in the last 7 years in Vietnam. Viet dreams has been providing so much help to children in the central areas of Vietnam, especially the flooded zones.

We have been working with Vietdreams for over 5 years. In those 5 years Vietdreams has installed and maintained clean water systems to serve over 850 children and over 200 caregivers at Vinh Son and Sao Mai orphanages. The orphanages are located in the remote Central Highlands of Vietnam and despite the distance and the logistics the service has been excellent. In addition to the technical service they are most clear and detailed in their communications. We are most grateful to have a partner like Vietdreams

I didn't know what this charity was or did, but when my friend Catherine introduced me to Us&Kids and asked me to design the tshirts to sell, I finally found a way to help. Selling the shirts and getting the shirts prepared was a challenge, but knowin what it was going to, (the kids in vietnam) made it an amazing experience. I'm glad Catherine introduced me to Us&Kids.

I have volunteered with Viet Dreams since the start and I have not seen another charity organization that displays the same kind of authenticity and honesty like VD. All material and info are transparent and board members and volunteers are very professional. Awesome work they're doing here!

I have been a volunteer for Viet Dreams since the beginning. Their events and fundraisers are always outstanding and very well executed with plenty of activities fit for any age. I especially enjoyed the Toys Drive during Christmas time. I was able to not only purchase the presents, but I got to wrap and hand them to the kids. Overall, Viet Dreams is one of the most genuine charity organizations out there, and I am proud to be a part of it.

I had a chance to volunteer at Vietdreams the first time in 2015 and get hooked until now. A very-well organised foundation with the philosophy of disclose everything. Every donor can rest assured that their money will go to where disadvantaged people need the most. Founders had a clear vision to focus mainly on medical and water issues, which are daily issues yet critical for people in Vietnam.

Vietdreams is truly an amazing charity organization that provides clean drinking water to orphanages & schools in Vietnam. Throughout the world, there are many services like this offered but you don't see it actually receiving all the full benefits. This is not the case with Vietdreams. They stand behind everything they lay out on the table. This charity does a great job at making donating fast & easy as well as FUN (with benefit concerts, auctions, artworks etc etc.) I volunteered at a Vietdreams Charity Ball event a few years ago & it was great to see everything come to life & see how passionate the organizers are. Vietdreams gives you a true sense of community.

VietDream is one of the nonprofit organization that do less of the talking and more of the action. It is would be a wise decision to entrust your charity money to this organization because they make sure that 100% of the charity money goes to the clean water project. I had been volunteering at this organization for a couple year now, and I enjoy every moment that I work as a volunteer for this organization. Through VietDream, I was able to make friends with many successful individuals and they are fun to work with.

How many charities do you know where 100% of their proceed go directly to the project that they stand for?.. Well, Viet Dreams is one of them. I've volunteered and donated to so many other charitable organizations including St. Jude; and to be honest Viet Dreams is one of the most organized, and best one out there. They have a much smaller group of volunteers compared to the BIG-name charities, but they do a lot with what they have. The great thing is that everyone is a volunteer, so there on administration cost associated. They are here for one thing only and it's to give back, identify what is need and help those in need. No one gets left out. I am truly honored and happy to have gotten a chance to be involved with this organization. Kudos to the volunteers and founder of this organization. You are all making an impact in the world we live in. --> what a great feeling!!!

Viet Dreams, an organziation that is so young but very well organized. They seem to put out a lot of time and thought into their work and it shows through their events and results. One of the best charity I've worked with because 100% of their proceeds go directly to their projects. They're that amazing!

It is an amazing feeling to be working with such passionate individuals who share the same mission as yourself. I've only been volunteering for three years going on fourth but I feel like part of a big family. Every event was carefully, and creatively thought out. It is always a joy to be working with such hardworking, passionate, and dedicated folks. They always hit their goal with every event so far. 100% of their proceeds goes directly into clean water for the poor kids in VN. Such an amazing journey so far and I hope to continue to follow the same path with VD to make the world a better place for as long as I can. I hope Vietdreams continue their journey and expand their support to other third world countries.

Found out about Viet Dreams in Tsu, and have supported them ever since. It's wonderful to see such committed people really walking their talk, using the money donated for real, tangible projects, instead of most of ir being lost along the way! These are the standards we must hold any non profits we donate money to...it's not even about the money, it's about the work being done, and the intention behind it.
