While I was growing in the field of esports VEF provided great guidance, resources, and training in the areas of scholastics and esports. We were able to take online certifications that have paid dividends multiple times over as we grew as an organization ourselves. If anyone needs things explained in a straight forward, understandable, and practical way VEF is the best place to start. But it doesn't stop there. Multiple additional resources are available that provide pathways to technology resourcing, curriculums, and beyond. We are thankful for VEF and Bubba's guidance as we built our non-profit's foundation and as we continue to grow.-Chris Poirier (Founder/Game Master Columbus Got Game)
The heart of their leadership is authentic. The resources they provide to teachers and parents are fantastic. And the way they pioneer a relatively uncharted field to provide resources to students is bold and worth investing in!
Goes beyond esports scholarships and have seen the impact they’ve had in local schools esports clubs and after school programs leveraging esports to create a safe space for youth.
I have a child who’s a gamer and I knew nothing about the gaming industry. I stumbled upon this organization and I was extremely happy that I did. They explain the esports ecosystem so that anyone can understand it. The esports ecosystem is ever-changing and they are constantly updating their information. This organization gave me a clear understanding of esports and how to interact with my gamer. Now I educate others.
This charity has helped many high schoolers get funds to go to college! It gives kids the opportunity to earn scholarship money outside of "traditional" sports, which has opened the door for a lot of students who didn't otherwise have that opportunity!
And they are super nice and knowledgeable.
Great work for a bunch of kids in need! They really help break down the barrier of entry into esports for so many students.
I love the noble cause of VEF. Helping low income students to have better future through scholarships and grants is simply amaizing
I work with The High School Esports League in onboarding schools and for many schools the work the VEF does makes a huge difference. Their support for schools enables so many low income schools to have opportunities in esports and their tireless dedication makes a difference for educators and students alike.
The Varsity Esports Foundation does an amazing job of providing scholarships for schools serving disadvantaged communities in addition to helping schools develop their esports coaches and incorporate esports into the school curriculum.
VEF has been a great partner in distributing funds to schools and educational institutions in need of financial assistance. The work they have done to promote and grow the esports and education industry has been widely praised among many educators, gamers, businesses, and parents alike.

I have taken all of their classes through the Esports Education Network (EEN). They are great courses and do a perfect job of introducing anyone, from minimal experience in the industry to professionals, into the esports industry, specifically with K12 and educational institutions. Growth in students and young adults through gaming is a major value of theirs, and Bubba (Director) and Coach Alne are the best people to help pursue that.
An amazing organization that really cares about creating opportunities for underserved communities. I saw a presentation by them at an online event and was blown away.
Providing scholarships and opportunities for students in the emerging field of esports in a very efficient and a proactive manner. Getting the help and education students need is one of the noblest goals one can think of, and VEF does an excellent doing that.
I've watched the Varisty Esports Foundation rise from an idea to an organization that is truely assisting eduators and students to achieve great things. Recently, I had a conversation with a school whose population was 100% on a free and reduced lunch program. These students do not have much, but with the help of VEF they are now able to enjoy access to STEM programs and engage their students in an Esports club. Particpation in the club is helping school attendance, GPA and overall behavior in school. To say that VEF is helping lives is an understatement. They are helping forge social emotional learning, opporutnity, and teamwork through the use of technology and gaming. This is a non-profit that I will support for many years to come.
As a board member of the VEF, I can proudly say how confident I am in the leadership of the foundation and its ambitious pursuit of serving underserved schools across the US by providing grants and scholarships to esports programs.

I donated $300 to this foundation to help support kids in low-income areas have access to alternative extra-curricular activities like esports. I truly believe that after school engagement is one of the best ways to improve a kid's chances of success later in life. And it's impossible to ignore that every kid in America is playing video games, why not support that level engagement, but in the classroom with competitive esports.
I am really proud of what this organization stands for and look forward to it executing on its mission.
We all know someone who does not like video games and is more than happy to tell you why. I worked with VEF to bring information to teachers and administrators about students gaming in education. Their passion for student education through gaming is contagious and exciting. Their mission bridges the gap between STEM and students with video games! They are working to level up our education system.
The Varsity Esports Foundation provides robust resources to help schools implement and grow their esports programs. Through rigorous vetting processes, they work to promote effective, research-based initiatives to encourage diversity, inclusiveness, suicide prevention, internet safety, and digital citizenship. Through these initiatives, they are advancing gaming literacy and helping to reduce the destructive behaviors sometimes associated with esports.
