Mission: Our duty is to serve those who have served our great nation. We facilitate veterans services for our service members, veterans, and families by streamilining access to veteran's housing, education, life skills, and physical wellness services.
Programs: In 2017, 114 veterans were served; 200 including family members. 42 veteran families received through our va grant housing first and supportive services including case managment,assistance with health benefits, increasing income (ssdi, va etc) physical,mental wellness,employment,and life skills to increase housing stability. 20 veterans were assisted with employment services through our compensated work therapy program designed to assist veterans in gaining skill and transitioning into civilian workforce. 19 families (24 individuals)received shelter at the veterans center; charity bed nights of shelter:2900 valued at $132,791 at the va per diem rate. 33 veterans received assistance through our ptsd peer support group totaling 137. 5 hours. Our volunteers contributed a total of 6734. 75 volunteer hours,valued at $28. 46/hour in ca. Therefore, inkind hours are valued at $191,671.
