I started with the VSC about two years ago, and I am so glad that I made the choice to volunteer here! The staff here make volunteering a really enjoyable experience with a great support system and plenty of opportunities that cater to everyone's strengths. One of the most rewarding aspects about a volunteer position at the VSC is the ability to individually and direct provide one-on-one assistance to a person in need. The VSC provides completely free services, and it's nice to volunteer at an organization with such a strong and helpful presence in the community. Each of their staff truly embodies these community-service oriented values. Last but not least, there is great camaraderie among the volunteers and staff and you're sure to meet great new like-minded people!
