Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Adult Education, Education, Health, Health Support, Mental Health, Mental Health Treatment, Military & Veterans Organizations, Veterans
Mission: The mission of the Veteran Resource Network is to be the home of veteran services programs that make a difference in the lives of our US military veterans. Our current programs include Troops to Truckers, Troops To Careers, Troops To Business, and the Veteran Support Directory.
Results: Since 2004, we have served more than 12,000 military members in their search for employment through our National Troops to Truckers program and the Troops to Career Program. We have served thousands as well through our other small programs such as Troops to Business and Veteran Housing Project.
Target demographics: We help transitioning veterans who are still active duty as well as veterans who have been out of service for decades.
Direct beneficiaries per year: in 2017, we assisted morethan 2,500 military veterans, and that was just the employment transition program.
Geographic areas served: Although we serve the entire United States, our high impact states are Virginia amd North Carolina
