VIC is absolutely a great organization to work with! As one of the few organizations that provide full scope transition services to homeless Veterans, VIC has a demonstrable history of success. What a great organization, changing lives and communities in NM!

I contacted the Veterans Integration Centers about possibly being admitted to the program after incarceration. I had no money, job or family in Albuquerque and the VIC opened their doors to me and gave me a chance at a new life. The amazing staff at the VIC was friendly, non-judgmental, and very willing to guide me in the right direction to find stable housing and a job. Within 45 days of being admitted to the Transitional Housing program, I was able to get a job and move into my apartment. The SSVF staff was able to assist me with a rental deposit and once I signed the lease the Operations crew was so awesome in providing me with furniture to get me started. I have had the VIC's support for the past year and a half, am still employed and still in the same apartment and am finally on the road to the stability and security that every person deserves. Everyone needs help at some point in their life and I am very grateful I called the VIC to help me. They changed my life.

New Mexico Veterans Integration Centers (VIC) is an amazing nonprofit organization, which does invaluable work for our veterans and community at large. NM VIC fills exactly that gap which helps homeless veterans successfully reintegrate back into society. This nonprofit deserves all the support they can get.

They do a great job with helping everyone they can. They also do a lot of outreach to connect with Veterans that may not know what resources are available to them.

NMVIC provides a wide variety of services to homeless and near homeless veterans. Beyond the necessities of life they provide a family atmosphere and help the veteran find support.

The mission of the New Mexico Veterans Integration Center is absolutely amazing and a huge need here in New Mexico. Team Rubicon recently teamed up with the NMVIC to clear some trees from an apartment complex they will be moving into. Bobby is a true lead from the front leader, literally hauling heavy logs side by side everyone else. It was an honor to work with the men and women at the NMVIC and we look forward to seeing homeless veterans transition off the streets.

As a Veteran and daughter of a Veteran, I wholeheartedly support the work of the Veterans Integration Centers. This organization is staffed Veterans and immediate members of Veterans and absolutely believe in leaving in “Supporting Veteran Families Beyond the Battlefield.” While this organization is based in Albuquerque, they are focused on Veteran Families throughout New Mexico. Not only do I refer Veteran families to them for services, I support them financially. They have an overhead budget of 10%! I feel good knowing my financial donation is spent wisely.

The VIC always goes above and beyond whether it be helping Veteran families or a Veteran in the community; they are there when you need them. Homeless Veterans and their families get to stay together during the emergency shelter process and their SSVF team helps get them into their own apartment.

There was an elderly Veteran gentalman in our neighborhood that needed help with his yard, as the city had been giving him tickets for weeds and old appliances in his back yard. The NM Veterans Integration Center (VIC) brought in a group of its employees and volunteers to clean the yard and carry off old appliances. They spent an entire day and now that house is nearly the best on the block! Thank you to the VIC for your support and all that you do for our community and our Veterans!

I have seen first hand that amount of care and focus the VIC staff provides when a veteran needs it the most. The amount of care provided is greatly needed in today’s times.

Seen this flyer on FB to support our Veteran & families Sept 28th from 10 am to 2 pm. The price was either a cash donation, new pair of underwear (men or women), or canned food. What a great way to engage the community and garner support for our Veterans in need.Great Job NMVIC!
