What someone receives from going on a Veterans Expeditions (VetEx) trip is so much more than just getting outside. This organization opens doors (both recreational and professional), introduces you to a large community and support network, allows you to attend several trips a year, among several other benefits that you'll have to attend a trip to find out! On my first trip, I was immediately welcomed with open arms and taught how to ice climb for the very first time ever, at no cost. By the end of the trip, I knew it was an organization that I fully supported.
