This has really helped me get the tools I need for work. The people are awesome and easy to work with. Thank y'all so much
I personally served 11 years in the Marine Corps Infantry. When I got out in March of 2016 I thought I had it all figured out. After about 6 month of being out I battled with severe depression and acute anxiety pretty bad. I felt like i had lost my purpose in life and didn't want to live anymore. I met Micheal Owens through linkedin. At the time i didn't know him to well but knew we had worked together while I was in the Military. After he offered me a Security job and getting to know him a little better i found out we served in Sangin Afghanistan together at the same time. Vetality set me up for success with rediscovering my new purpose in life. They got me a guard card within 2 weeks and i was back to work. They took care of all the fees and put me back into a work structure that I understood. Thank you Vetality for giving me my purpose back.
I got out of the Army in 2014. I went through a bad divorce and did not hold a job down. I drank frequently and often thought I would never be as successful as I was in the military. I was a SFC/E-7 in Special Forces when I got out. I was then drinking every day and fighting a losing battle for my kids. My sister begged me to go to Califorina and be around family. With no other options and homeless I moved to Califorina. She introduced me to Mr. Owen (her neighbor) when I arrived because she knew he was a veteran as well. We immediately hit it off and he told me about the non profit Vetality and about everything they do for vets. He told me about the security company FSS (Fidelity Security Solutions). I immediately was offered a job. I instantly felt that brotherhood connection that I was missing for so long. Now I had a opportunity to continue doing something I have a passion for. I also get to help other Veterans in need just like me. I get to use all my training and experiences from the military and translate the Special Operations side into a security template for my industry. I was down and out for so long and I felt like I had no purpose in life. Vetality has given me opportunities for my own personal growth and I am greatful. I see a future full of success for me. I am not one to praise something don't believe in. Vetality helped save my life, and I want every Veteran to have a success story as well! We will insulate and not isolate so that you reach your full potential. I went from being homeless moving here, and sleeping on my sister's couch, to having my own place and car within 5 months. I have a group of brothers in arms that share the same experiences as myself and we always check in on each other. Every veteran should have a success story for life after the military! Vetality was the means for me getting to my success story. It's still in progress and I couldn't be more optimistic!
I first reached out to VetalityCorp., in October 2016, with an email requesting their help to bring their recycling program "Cans-4-Vets" to my hometown in Louisiana. The email stated that there was litter all along side the roads, that I believed this program could help us as a community come together and tackle this litter problem, and also that we could use those recycled goods as a means of passive proceeds to go to help out Veterans here locally and nationwide that have found themselves in a tough spot--be it an alternative treatment that's not provided by the VA system, or for furthering their education. One of the members of Michael's team got back to me in the same day, and they have helped me along every step of the way in any way that they could from the beginning. Now, nearly two years later, we have had a lot of success in implementing this program here in Monroe, LA, and we just issued our first check to our own local veteran! This is a great non-profit filled with many awesome people, and a great program that's so simple and easy to spread and use. Working with them has been nothing short of life-changing, purpose-fulfilling, and I highly recommend or challenge anyone to try and implement VetalityCorp.'s "Cans-4-Vets" program in their own hometown or city!
My name is Sgt. ThomasAbraham Bradley Jr. I've recently began my journey of transition from active duty. When I initially began doing my gap analysis of skills and education it looked scary. After meeting Mike Owen and vetalitycorp.org I realized I was ahead of the curve more then I thought. Vetalitycorp.org was able to help put me in touch with a security company Fidelity Security Solutions which put me to work part time while I was still on active duty. They were also instrumental in helping me advance my current security training and qualifications by putting me in touch with opportunities through out the local area. I am currently pursuing my critical infrastructure response management certification.
The work at vetalitycorp.org has been instrumental in helping me forge ahead and ease the burden of transition for me and my family. The time and effort they have invested in me has driven me to invest back in them. Helping promote and participate in programs such as iLYFT4vets and cans 4 vets have allowed me to pay it forward for the next Marine, Sailor or service member looking for assistance.

My name is Sergeant Sean Major and I wanted to reach out to you directly and thank you for your interest in VETality. I've sustained four service-connectedtraumatic brain injuries and I became a patient at the Wounded Warrior Battalion in August of 2015. I've come an extremely long way. There was a time where I couldn't walk, talk, or bathe without assistance. VETality played a huge role because it provided hope for me. We live in a time when we have 22-50 veteran pharmaceutical related deaths at suicides. My fear was becoming on of those statistics. Mike Owen gave me a place to volunteer and feel like I had a purpose. Setting up security details for events while employing veterans in need was amazing because even though I couldn't protect the great American people anymore, I found a way to do my part. Donations to others in need allowed me to forget about how much assistance I require. I'm starting a transitional housing program for other Wounded Warriors like myself. I found holistic health in Horticulture therapy so I will teach our veterans how to cultivate their own organically certified produce. I can do this while also providing a place to stay while waiting for their VA compensation. We have over 300k homeless veterans sleeping on the street. There are a lot of programs that provide substancefor these Warriors but I prefer the proactive approach. VETality gave me a place to be a positive impact on the community. Mike Owen created a non-profit organization for veterans that is contagious. There has been a lot of talk between Mr Owen and myself but today at 1pm it's official. The Eden transitional housing program is an official program of VETality Corp.
Thank you for allowing me to open up and introduce myself and my experience with Mike Owen at VETality. I know it was a bit of a read but I appreciate you allowing me to open up. It really means a lot not only to myself but all the Veterans VETality continues to positively impact.

VETality is truly a non-profit for veterans. Their programs have helped many veterans in their return to civilian life. The money they make from their numerous programs and companies goes back to the veterans, something that cannot be said about every veteran NPO today. The values they represent and the initiatives they support are all with the well being of veterans in mind. A great group of guys and a wonderful organization!
I have found that VETality Corp is an organization that dedicates 100% to its veteran members and their families. I have experiences this by volunteering in this prestigious organization, and by talking to board members. Their passion is genuine and there desire is real. Volunteer, help and participate with this organization; it is worth it!
Great place to discover much needed alternate therapy, run by veterans who understand what it's like and what is needed.
