Mission: Our mission is to provide adults with essential skills education to further their educational, employment and personal goals in order to expand their options and capabilities in the family, community, and workplace.
Programs: Basic skills - provide education services throughout the state of vermont that include classes and individual tutoring in reading, writing, math, and english for speakers of other languages; family literacy programs and customized training for employers. Provide ged preparation and testing services. 963 individuals served.
high school completion - is a program introduced in fy2007 and allows 16-21 year olds who have dropped out of high school or are at-risk of dropping out, the opportunity to obtain their high school diploma after completion of a customized individual student graduation plan in collaboration with their high school. 622 students served. Total number of service hours 21,353.
workplace readiness formerly creative workforce solutions - is a statewide program that assists vermonters to develop the skills, attitudes, and behaviors essential for entering the work environment and maintaining employment. 840 students served.
