Mission: We are dedicated to the animals and people of our community. Our motto, "adopt for life" exemplifies our mission. We strive to match each animal with the right family, after observing them, so that animal will have a forever home.
Programs: Verde valley humane society provides daily shelter, food & care for approximately 974 stray and surrendered small domestic animals including animals impounded and/or quarantined by 5 local governmental jurisdictions. Approximately 611 animals were placed with proper human caregivers through adoption. We returned approximately 338 to their owners. 610 animals were spayed or neutered. We required all adopted cats and dogs to be spayed or neutered prior to being placed on the adoption floor.
