Nonprofit Overview

Mission: Being an entrepreneur means much more than simply wanting to start your own business. Entrepreneurs are able to identify and anticipate diverse societal needs and create products and services that will fill those needs. They must be able to innovate, think critically, and take calculated risks in order to succeed. Thanks to an increasingly competitive global marketplace, it is becoming extremely important to feel comfortable applying technology in order to invent new products, modernize systems, and potentially launch new companies. Currently, approximately 60% to 80% of all new jobs created within our country can be attributed to the efforts of entrepreneurs. Therefore, it has never been more important to develop entrepreneurial skills. Over the past decade, there has also been a significant growth among science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) jobs. These occupational fields have seen growth that is often triple that of non-STEM jobs. Individuals who follow these career paths typically enjoy increased job security, more career choices, and higher wages, and these trends are expected to continue over the coming years. The challenge is that the current classroom education system is lacking when it comes to motivating students to pursue STEM-related educational paths, and is falling even further behind in regards to teaching students how to think entrepreneurially. Students are instructed regarding the basic theories and research of great thinkers of the past and present, but they are not necessarily taught how to apply these lessons to the future. Using our ESTEAM framework, we provide experiential learning in Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, teaching students the key mindsets of entrepreneurial thinking, design thinking, creativity, and we provide hands on instruction in technology.
