Direct beneficiaries per year: 1491 potential home buyers and existing homeowners served. 183 families assisted in realizing the dream of homeownership. 61 families assisted in preserving home from foreclosure. 1,137 hours of one on one counseling provided. $14,691,160 in total mortgage loans financed for safe affordable homes. $311,000 in down payment assistance for low-to-moderate income families.

Programs: VCCDC has grown in response to market conditions and opportunities, as well as client needs, and operates as a one-stop home ownership center where it provides a full range of services:-education: pre/post-purchase, foreclosure prevention, financial empowerment;-counseling: budget/savings counseling, pre-purchase, foreclosure prevention;-financial coaching: (include group education, 1:1 coaching/counseling and peer support);-lending services: loan packaging/origination specializing in fixed-ratemortgages/down-payment assistance;-realty services: specializing in acquisition/rehab of modest priced homes and represents both buyers and sellers through real estate transactions. VCCDC is committed to high quality standards in the delivery of its services and has maintained all of its certification and affiliation as a HUD approved housing counseling agency, an adopter of the national industry standards for its homeownership education and counseling services, a certified community development financial institution (CDFI), an approved broker with the nationwide mortgage licensing system & registry (NMLS) and member of Ventura County Coastal Association of Realtors.
