Venice MainStreet has been in operation since the late 1980's. It has been the major player working with the City of Venice to energize and maintain the Historic Downtown Venice. VMS creates and maintains downtown events to continually attract residents and visitors. VMS is the most active body to promote the greater Venice area. Constantly working on capital and beautification projects like the Youth Fountain, Holiday decorations and civic banners to show our pride of place. VMS also provides free, family, fun projects like the Fairy Doors, Shark Statuary and musical concerts. They have built a great downtown.
