Mission: To conserve land and to protect the natural ecosystem and rural character of vashon-maury island for the benefit of the public and future generations.
Programs: Land conservation: protecting land for public benefit and wildlife habitat.
land stewardship: restoration, land management, baseline documentation and monitoring of land for the 11,000 residents of the island and visitors.
conservation education: ecological preservation classes, property tours, youth environmental education, native species and stewardship planning programs.
