I found out about Valley Interfaith when I was looking for a place to donate my daughters' outgrown clothes (so many places can/will not accept used clothing now). Someone gave me a tour the day I was there and I was impressed with their operations and mission. I now volunteer once a week and love the people I work with!
Valley interfaith provides caring, helping hands for people in need in our community. It is a caring safety net for those who live and work here. If a family is in need, Valley helps catch these people to give them that caring hand up, with food, clothing, rent assistance, resources to help with domestic issues, and if one has been living in poverty for most of their lives, valley can teach them how to change their lives and attitudes to become self-sufficient Contributing members of our society. Valley interfaith helps make Cincinnati a safer more wholesome place to live. Through outreach valley enriches our whole community. I have been a volunteer at Valley for 10 years and have supported valley financially for nearly 35 years. It is a very worthwhile organization.
I am a donor to Valley Interfaith. I donate because they use every dollar they receive to support their clients. This is a well managed organization that is looking to the future. They are also incredibly grateful to their donors and show their appreciation in meaningful ways.
What wonderful people. They help animals find a place to live while their owners are in the hospital. There is a HUGE need for this as few folks plan to be in the hospital. Many defer going to the hospital, no matter how sick they are, because their pet won't have care. This allows the pet and the owner to rest easy.
I volunteer at Valley Interfaith and find the work rewarding. People that need extra assistance in the community come to get food and clothing here. They really appreciate that the services Valley offers are available to them. Like me, most of the volunteers live in the local area and there is a wonderful fellowship among the volunteers. This fellowship can also be felt between the volunteers and the families Valley serves. I enjoy being part of this community.
Valley Interfaith is a dynamic organization that provides food and clothing and referrals for social services to an undeserved population. The staff is welcoming and supportive of the people they serve. People who utilize the services are treated with respect. The agency in the last year has provided food and clothing to thousands of people. the agency 's work with the the newly arrived Mauritanians has been impressive.
The Valley services everyone and they have greatly help improve the quality and quantity of families in need. Many can not adequately support their families or provide clothing off food for their families. Their help is much appreciated and serving the communities do not go unnoticed. I say thank you for the number of families and people you help. Kudos!!!
Valley Interfaith has been an integral part of the "valley" communities for many years. It is currently assisting immigrants/refuges from a variety of nations providing information on resources, food and clothing and ESL
I have been involved with Valley Interfaith for about 15 years. Much has changed in that time, but what has not changed is the great need in the community. I currently serve in the food pantry, and every client who comes in truly needs food. They are so appreciate of what we give them, even though some weeks we are better stocked than other weeks. The nonprofit is very well run. The staff is small, but they are dedicated to Valley and do all they can to help our clients

I volunteered here for 10 years and left about 4 years ago. I also served as a Board member and Chairperson of the Back 2 School program. I came back when Valley put out a request to former volunteers asking who might return after the pandemic. I have incredible respect for the programs, leadership and other volunteers I see weekly. The clients are a beautiful mix of diverse ages, abilities and backgrounds. They are treated with great respect, and are definitely appreciative of the help they receive. I don't have a clue what most of the families would do if Valley was not available to provide food for them.
My wife and I started volunteering at Valley Interfaith after we were encouraged by our friend and long time volunteer.
We see the needs for food and clothing that being met in our community and we are encouraged.
I have had the honor of being a member of The Valley Interfaith. They have helped my children and I so many times in the past decade. From domestic violence advocate, bill assistance, school supplies, home supplies, food, clothing and more. The thing I appreciated the most was the encouragement and drive they taught me to become self sufficient and not have to rely on outside help and that I could find the motivation and the endurance inside myself to maintain a healthy and worth-while life as a single mother. Now I have the privilege to work in an environment where I can help and do the same for others that has been so inspiring in my life. Today I am able to use Valley Interfaith as a resource for my clients who are in need and they now have the turn to be thankful and full of gratitude by the things Valley can do.
We needed help with food the people was very helpful and nice answered all and any questions that I had
Valley interfaith cares & helps our community. There services are truly appreciated. When I was pregnant they helped me with maternity clothes, food, clothing & uniforms for my children & diapers for my baby.
I volunteer at Valley Interfaith CRC and find the time I spend there very rewarding. The items donated go directly to people in our community. Children's clothing, linens, towels and dish ware are greatly needed. People who use the services that are provided are thankful.
We have been working with, or donating time and funding to Valley for over 30 years. They sincerely work to connect to the community served and make sure they are doing the utmost to provide the most helpful services with dignity to their clients. They minimize their own internal expenses to maximize what is returned to the community. Their heart is in the right place and definitely deserve our support.

As a staff member of 6 years, I can attest to the fact that the staff here truly care. The members feel heard and understood. We meet community members' needs while respecting the dignity of every person. Many churches, agencies, businesses and individuals partner with VICRC to make sure we truly offer the most helpful resources needed within this community. We have found innovative ways to accomplish more with less volunteers and lower expenses. This is a wonderful organization for accessing services, for working, and for volunteering. Once you're involved, you become part of one big family!

After several years of neglecting my relationship with Jesus, I knew it was time I go back to church. I searched online to find a church nearby where I live & found Valley Interfaith. I began gaining more information about Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center online, & eventually attended in person. The staff, volunteers, leadership, were very helpful. The atmosphere there is a amazingly kind & very welcoming. I am grateful to have found Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center.
Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center is an amazing resource for our clients. Originally, our purpose was to provide food and clothing to our clients that were in need. Today, we offer so much more! Food and Clothing are still mainstays and are utilized as engagement tools to get to know our clients and any additional needs they potentially have for themselves or family members. With this knowledge, we can then offer additional services or refer them to one of our network of service partners. We are here to meet our clients immediate needs and then develop those relationships so that we can help address any additional needs!
Been supporting for several years. They give so much critical help for so many folks who need it. Unlike some big-name non-profits, they do this without a lot of hullabaloo or large corporate sponsors. Unfortunately, this means a tight budget, but they make it go far!
This organization is a Great resource for supportive services! I not only receive support with meal planning, and household supplies; I've actually went through a Women's empowerment course that helped put me on the path to long term self sufficiency! All the staff and volunteers and truly amazing and helpful. Its a place where people can come to get help and be treated like family! The good kind that welcomes all their kin!
