I have witnessed first-hand the wonderful work being done by the East Austin Academia in a low-income neighborhood in East Austin, Texas. By working WITH the neighborhood and listening closely to residents the organization is providing what is most needed and wanted and what is most helpful. A new playground was just installed this past weekend! They are truly transforming their site into a comprehensive community resource. Please give them your support!
